Our Process

Step 1: Schedule an appointment with one of our designers. The first appointment generally occurs at your residence. It will involve our designers hearing your ideas as well as taking existing dimensions. It is a always a good idea to have photos of what you like and any existing plans that you may have for your space.

Step 2: Our designers will contact you within about a week of your first meeting with them. At this point they will have preliminary floor plans to show you. During this meeting you will go over all aspects of the project. (ex. types of storage, sizes, locations, etc.)

Step 3: Our designers will edit the plans based on your discussion and begin pricing the plans. If trades need to be involved (ex. plumbers, electricians, tile guys, etc.) your designer will arrange a meeting at your residence. This will allow the trades to see the scope of work that needs to be done. Once all of the prices are received they will then provide you with a quote for your project. Please note it is your choice for who will bid the work in your home. We have several tradesman we can recommend but will also work with ones that you provide.

Step 4: Once you recieve all of the bids and know your overall cost. It will be your decision to let us know if the project is going ahead or not. At this point we will ask for a “binder”. The binder is a non refundable deposit that comes directly off the top of our agreed upon contract price.

Step 5: Once a binder is received, your designer will begin working on the final plans for your project. This is the point you will see interior elevations and really narrow down what every cabinet will look like. At the end of this step you will have your final plans and submit your contract and deposit. From this point it will take approximately 6 to 12 weeks for your cabinets to be delivered (delivery times may differ depending on what line you choose). Your designer will coordinate with everyone to make sure the job runs smoothly and everything is on time.

Step 6: Your cabinets will be delivered and the installation will begin. This is last step to your new space!
